Tips for removing flywheel
I just pulled my engine, and now need to remove the flywheel. Any tips, I tried having someone hold the crank bolt and I'll turn the flywheel bolts but that seemed to loosen the crankbolt.
Thanks for any help.
BTW I'm doing this to replace the freeze plugs.

Flywheel or flexplate?
Stick a large screwdriver or prybar through a hole in the flexplate, jam it up against the block as you turn the bolt in the loosening direction.
For flywheel, put a bolt in a bellhousing mount hole, use a large screwdriver in a starter tooth jammed against the bolt.
