smog & a/c removal ... what next

hey, my a/c doesnt work, and its R12.. i dont know how much it would cost to make it work properly.. but it takes a sh-tload of space.

And the smog stuff is also space consuming..

So to REMOVE, is it really straight forward ?

Once its removed.. what do I plug the holes with ?

Brass plugs? where to find ?

I have to keep an heating/air system.. but a/c.. no need.

thx in advance

as far as the condensor goes, just unbolt and yank the whole thing out (...careful cause there might be pressure in the system...). as far as the ac pulley and box, u can buy a AC delete pulley from gmparsdirect.com and a AC delete heater box that goes on the firewall.

if u get the delete pulley, u may use the same size belt. any hardware store should have brass fittings to cap the ends of the tubes.
