can anyone decode these casting #'s for me

these are the #'s i have i hope there the right ones there for a small block that is in a 77 vete i want to know if the motor is a vette motor

CLA is for a 1977 corvette 350 but the engine code was also used on many other models and years.

your missing a letter I think. The assembly plant (ie: N = Norwood)

542568 = vehicle sequence

This number should match your Corvette's vin numbers to be a "numbers matching car". Otherwise, it was replaced.
