Heads
I was just curious if anyone knows the stock GM casting number for TPI 350 heads.I am currently in the middle of disassembling this engine and looked at the casting numbers. Mortec.com they we're for a crate engine 64cc chambers. 14101083 is the number and i just wanted to see if anyone else's matches this number. Thanks Kevin

Can't these be worked on to flow better, I know they'll never flow like an afr head but I would think that you make them flow better than out of the box Vortec's

They probably can be; or at least can be made to equal Vortecs.
On the other hand, if you applied the same effort to some Vortecs, they'd outflow the old design substantially.

Yes you can improve these heads. but it will take work and probabily new valves.
Do a search for rhuarc30 and rhuarc31
He has a real good handle on these heads and has posted
a good thread all about it.
