Broke The Tranny Crossmember..any Better Ones Out There?

Hey guys

Good to be back on the site...been away a while but now i have a question for you guys.

Recently i was out racing around town...just some light to light stuff(the most fun if ya ask me) when i came accross this mid 90s mustang 5.0.. after a few races we realized that we were pretty evenly matched so it became quite fun to race..

well at one of the lights after i took off i heard and felt my tranny rip through the mount and slam into the bottom of my car...no big deal..ive done this a few times before...(still too lazy to get a poly mount...i will be now)

the only big problem is that i snapped the tranny crossmember in half ....

is there a better built one out there or one from another model vehicle that i could use the ensure that it doesnt happen again...

ill have to weld the new one in place anyway cause the passenger side bolts are stripped out and the old one was welded in place anyway

any thoughts or opinions are greatly appreciated

oh yeah i did win the last race...i was going home beaten and bruised...just bruised...lol

Spohn Offers just what you need. I can verify that their fit and finish is great. I purchased a trans crossmember for my 84 and a tremac .It fit perfectly. direct bolt in.
