"Cheap" and "quality" don't really go together. Which is more important? "Cheap" will cost you more in the long run, because you'll be back sooner than with a "quality" one.

The Borg-Warner "Brute power" ones are a pretty good, better-than-stock kind, for not too terribly much money. Another one I've had good results with is Ram. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...rt=RAM%2D88730

yeah, the ram one on summit is the one i was talkin about.. couldnt remember the name or where i saw it.. so its pretty decent quality? by cheap i ment between 150-200 cause its pretty much all i have to spend.. thanx a lot for the link i couldnt remember where i saw it and basically im lookin for somethin a little better then stock but not 400 like a hays or equivilent.. so i went to the jy and got my t-5 today.. im a very happy boy.. i know its just a t-5 and its prolly gonna go boom eventually but its the wc t-5 as i could tell from ur pics and 2 make me even happier i cleaned the ick off it n on top in paint marker was a to address to a proformance shop and some stuff written by the guy who worked on it.. it was REBUILT in 01! n it listed the mileage and the name of the business so im gonna call and find out what kinda parts they used.. to make me even happier the mileage written on the trans is only 2300 less then the odometer of the car at the yard! the fluid in it looked brand new and had no grayish metal color! yay! and yeah i know its just a t-5 but its a manual tranny that will fit in my car with hardly any work, might last a while and was only $100 for what appears to be a rebuild trans, the bellhousing, a fairly new looking hurst shifter sittin on top of it so yeah im happy! sorry for the rant! i just love this junkyard! i got my hydrolics and pedals there too for 15 bucks and i got a flywheel for free, aluminum ds with t-5 yoke(needs u-joints), free torque arm,and free x-member, bringing the grand total of my th-350 to 5-speed swap to $135 (20 for a shift plate + boot on e-bay) so far and figure in $150.00 more if that RAM setup is decent as im sure it is as rb approved it bringing a complete 5-speed swap for $285 with almost new parts
