I bought this camaro it was a carbed engine it had set the guy said for about 2 years well it took a while to get it started and i tuned it up new plugs,wires,distributor cap and rotor button and fuel pump and filter, It runs fine as long as you dont go no more than half throttle if you do push it to the floor it will just cut out and if you dont let off it will die! Does any one have any ideas?

If the fuel pump is good, and the fuel filter is clean, check the power enrichment circuit/valve in the base of the carb (if it's a Rochester).

As soon as you get the top off the fuel bowl, you may find other obvious problems from the car sitting for two years.
