There is a resistance check for the IAC (don't know it off the top of my head). To check the MAF, get the car running and GENTLY rap the MAF housing with a screwdriver handle, if the engine stumbles or stops acting up when you do this the MAF is probably bad. When dealing with the MAF, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, check the electrical connectors before paying $150 for a reconditioned one. This goes for all electrical troubleshooting, always check the connections before replacing a component, it'll save you lots of time and trouble.

I did tap on the MAF and it did not do anything, but the other day i took it to a mechanic and it started to run fine. We reset the computer and now the check engine light is off now. I dont know but i thing my car is playing games with me.

One quick way to check it to see if it is even moving would be to put a jumper between pins A&B of the ALDL and turn the key on (don't start the car), then go and listen to the IAC, it should be making a clicking noise. If it isn't it is probably bad ( would need to ohm out the coils from pin to pin), if it is clicking it should be ok, but may need a good cleaning of it and the throttle passages it sits in.
