AC COMPRESSOR ?

ok I got an ac compressor from autozone part# 57238. Anyways my old compressor has 2 electrical inputs. This one only has one. You can tell that a plug used to be tehre on the new one, but a piece of metal is over the whole. Am I supposed to transfer the plug from the old one to the new one or not. You think I got the right part?

call auto zone and ask, they know their parts better than most people here would.

That plug you are talking about is for the high pressure cutout switch. You need to transfer the switch from the old one, to the new one, or the compressor will never come on. You got the right one. you will need some snap-ring pliers to get the internal snap-ring out. Good luck.
