VAT Security System, HELP !!!!

Hi All,

I haven't been tot he new site in a while, it looks good. Anyway, my problem is that I cannot start my car. Every time I try and remote start it or use my key I cannot. The security light on the dash stays on. I wait the 3 minutes your supposed to and try again and still nothing. Is there a way to bypass or disable this stupid feature. It really is getting very annoying. !! Thanks in advance to all reply.

John

Read the article on VATS malfunction diagnosis and repair I wrote for the tech resources section. That will help you with the most common problem with VATS. https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/tech/vats.shtml

Here is another tech article, however it does not endorse bypassing it. Check it out. PassKey.
