If you have a v8 in there now its a direct bolt up
EDIT: Forgot to mention, I don't know anything about later model 1pc seal blocks but I guess the tpi manifold would bolt up. be careful, this dude my be trying to funk you over. get the block numbers and look them up to make sure its legit.

You will need a new flywheel/flexplate for the correct rear main seal depending on what year TA you have.
300hp gross is roughly 220hp net, which is what all the new cars are rated at (post 1973)
Trying searching the motor swap board, tons of useful information.

is it worth it
alright he wants 500 for everything minus the carb it came out of a freakin C-6 dumb truck and he had it in his 4/4 truck and said its to torquey for his taste.......i'm guessing he's just messin around with things cause he works at a junk yard it prob has a chit load of miles on it and i'm kinda cautious about him sayin its putting out the power he says it is? but for 500 buxs and running smooth is it worth the gamble?

i'd walk away personally, if he works at a junkyard he probably pulled it out of somethin and has no idea of the actual mileage or anything.. plus for 500 around here you can get a decent rebuilt 350 from a machine shop... 350's have more cubes = more potential for power.

+ if its really a 300 hp 27, it'll have heads suitabled for leaded fuel. Won't last long with no lead. I'd run away from that deal. I'd buy a 350 block for a 100 and put the rest tords the rebuilding of it, as a 383.

But everyone else has a good point. For the same money, you could get an equally (if not more) healthy 350. A 350 will always make more power than a 327 will, and more reliably too.
It's probably a small journal block too, so its gonna be really hard to find rods or a crank for that engine, not to mention its not going to be as strong as the 350, which had large journals.
