Casting Number question

Anyone know anything about 14022601 cylinder heads? By the design, they seem to be lightweight 305 heads, but I don't know anything else.

They are ok heads for a 305. But once you port and polish them they really flow nicely. Follow the link at the end of my sig.

IMO there better then 416's, side by side comparison the 601's have advantages with port design. They have less material blocking flow so thier easyer to port. Disadvantage is they have recesed bumps that can reduce flow if not filled or the ports are not taken down enough.

Edit: the 601's are 55cc heads not 58cc like moretec lists them as.

It's not a big problem. If your 350 has dished pistons, then those heads with port & chamber work, 1.94" intake valves, and a thick head gasket, will provide a compression boost and flow well enough for the 350.
