t5 wiring question
Okay so I have been searching around and havent found an answer, I did the auto to t-5 swap all I have left is the wiring, I think I figured out the reverse lights I have to try them tommorow.
But I cant figure out the nutral saftey switch. I have a pigtailed connector comming off my pedals that is purple and yellow, from what I understand this is normal. But I dont have the same wires comming off of the auto shifter, the shifter has wires that are the same guage that are purple and green, I am assuming they are what I need, do I hook up purple to purple and yellow to green?
Has anyone seen this, I have a 91z28 and the pedals came out of something older.

It shouldn't matter which wires you connect. It should be just an open/close switch, so the polarity does not matter. Do a continuity test for the switch operation on both the shifter and the clutch pedal to verify that they operate the same.
