How are corvette heads emissions legal?

Since these heads don't have the heat riser, what did GM do to allow the use of an egr?

If you mean stock, the Corvettes have an EGR connection on the back of the intake manifold that connects a pipe to the #8 exhaust port. It gets its exhaust gas from there. The aftermarket intakes have provisions for it, and thats how I'm going to remain smog legal with my L98 heads. I'll have pictures when I'm done, give me another month.
