How are corvette heads emissions legal?

Transmission: Tremec T56
Axle/Gears: 12-Bolt 3.73
If you mean stock, the Corvettes have an EGR connection on the back of the intake manifold that connects a pipe to the #8 exhaust port. It gets its exhaust gas from there. The aftermarket intakes have provisions for it, and thats how I'm going to remain smog legal with my L98 heads.
