High Reving Not Welcome...

Hello again! Did a tune-up with AC-Delco rapidfire #2 plugs, and an oil change with 5W-30 synthetic blend today. When I put everything back together I took it for a ride and it was reving high, 1000rpm in gear stopped, about 1400rpm in park or neutral. Discovered a small vacuum line I forgot to reconnect to the back of one of the TBs. Hooked it back up and all was good. Went out later, started it and it was fine, but when I got to my dest. it was back high reving again! Grrr, lousy day with my T/A 2day! It was already dark so I couldn't check the lines, but I really don't think anything popped off, it was all on there pretty tight. What else would cause the high RPM??? Thanx guys!
