radiator leak

radiator leak
My radiator has a crack in the plastic tank and i dont want to buy a new radiator so dose anyone know how i can fix it. It is a hairline crack about 3 inches long in the top left hand tank thanks David.

Very common.
I seen all kinds of posts about patching/fixing those plastic tanks but not one repair has worked for long.
You just need to bite the bullet and put a new radiator in, they aren't that expensive.

no no...just get some of that aluma seal powder crap and pour it in the radiator...it also renews your water pump...JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!! i absolutely CRINGE every time i see someone pouring that crap in their car...just get a new one, dont skimp...

Ok I just did this, go to WWW.partsamerica.com and get the Modine radiator it works fine and only cost $120 after 15% discount. If there is a Advanced auto parts, Kragen, or Checkers auto parts store around, you can go pick it up there with no shipping or sales tax.
