Permatex Plenum Air Tubing..

I am redoing the gaskets for the plenum air inlet piping (after manifold gasket replacement) and am wondering if I should use a sealant on this piping as well. In the past I have just kept them dry.

diddo,
what are you referring too?

OK i think i know what you're talking about now.
if you mean the numerous gaskets from the throttle body to the runners, then they go on dry.
sealant is not required on these because the tpi is a dry intake system, just air travels through it.
I hope this is what you asked about, otherwise i still don't know what you're asking.

Yes, that is what I was referring to thanks. I also am debating whether to use thread sealant where the fuel lines mate with the injector fuel rail fittings. Should I? Then there is the question of whether to replace the orings on the end of the injectors (into the manifold). I have the gaskets, took one off to check the fit of the new oring and am noticing that the stack up height is much less than the original. The plastic seat has much more play in it than the originals. I doubt when the oring is compressed that it is going to make that much of a difference in stack height. So based on this fact and that the originals look fine I put everything back, only changing the one oring as I ruined the original. I reinstalled the injector and rail assembly and it seems ok. Think this is going to leak eventually? I figure there are no moving parts so I will be ok. I havent put on the air tubes yet so I can change all the oring if need be.

I've never used thread sealant on the fuel lines and never had a leak. some of the connections have o-rings in the femail side anyway.
As for the injector o-rings, if the new ones are really smaller maybe they arent the right ones.
My fel-pro intake gasket set came with 8 o-rings for the injector-manifold seal, not the injector-fuel rail seal.
i think that the o-rings are different sizes on the top of the injector and the bottom.
call a gm dealer and ask if they have 2 listings for o-rings.
hope i helped.

Right, no sealant or teflon tape on the fuel lines, FPR, or for that matter any fitting that is flared or that has an integral "O" ring.
