push rods
I have a stock cam in my 350 with hydraulic flat tappet lifters. The lift is like .380 intake and .410 exhaust. I want to put some 1.6 roller rockers in with some new heads. I am keeping everything else the same. What I am actually wondering if is I need longer push rods or shorter ones? I think that the same length pushrod would work because I am not changing the cams lift but I am changing the rockers ratio which increases the lift to the valve by being longer on one side than the other. Is this right? Thanks for any help

You do not have to change push rods when you change rocker ratios.
Stock push rods will work fine with that stock 929 cam, at least that sounds like what it is (.390"/.410"). That's the cam that did its fair share to help produce things like the 165 HP wonder 350s of the 70s.

thanks for the help, I figured that I was right but just wanted to be sure. Yeah that sounds about right with the cam. I won't be changing it out until I am back in the states though. With the heads that I am putting on now I'll be happy til then.
