Small Hesitation On 82 Crossfire, PLEASE HELP
Small Hesitation On 82 Crossfire, PLEASE HELP
Ive got a 82 Z28 with 5.0 litre crossfire engine. it has a flowmaster 3" exhaust with edelbrock headers, and a gutted cat, no smog or air of any kind, and I am STILL getting a small hesitation when i hit the gas, what is causing this? will it hurt to turn up the gas flow? if it wont hurt, how do I do it on a crossfire, im familiar with holley but not on my crossfire, please give me any ideas that will make this stall get away, thanks again!

Crossfire trait.
Is the EGR still working/intact.?? If so, put a BB in the line to it, see if that helps.
Whats the timing at??
TPS voltage??
These intake sytems work average at best in stock form, they can be made to run good if you know how to tweak them.
I don't remember the website I saw that the guy had tuning tricks for X-fires, sorry.

This is the web site for CFI: http://www.crossfire.homeip.net/
you will find plenty of good info in there including pictures of how to change your fuel presure. Your car should have NO hesitation, mine doesn't.
