Hey guys I had my timing on my 89 L98 bumped up, and it made a ton of difference. Well the dealer bumped my timing back down and made it slow as crap right now. I found out to bump my timing up to 10 degrees but what and where is the wire to ground so it will stay bumped up?

 

i tihnk you mean the est wite. it's tan w/white stripe, i think. it's in a wire loom above the heater and blower box. single wire with a connection in it. you un lug it to set base timing and plug it back in when you're done for the est to work.
