The valve seal kit you are looking for should be GM P/N 12511890. It consists of eight of each of two different part number seals. The brown one are intake and white ones are exhuast.

There is rumored to be a cast nodular crank for the 262 inch V-6. Prob'ly a stock item in the performance truck engines.

well vader it seems the closer i get to being done the more good parts i find out about. i'm pretty much dead in the water for a while waiting on special order parts, roller timing chain and gears from edlebrock, the 1318 rockers from comp, spring cups from lunati. i've got to much in my heads and crank to go swaping them now, i'll see how it works out and go from there. sort of playing around with combinations for a 396 for my "old"car, after the 85 is done. plus we're pulling the engine and trans out of my sons car. he's going with a bigger cam, from lunati, dart heads, weiand intake and bigger holley. maybe more converter too. while the trans is out i'm going to weld up a couple of holes and retap, he's pulled the bolts out of for the trans mount.

Not a problem, my pleasure. I am looking into getting a pocket programmer for some insight into the BINs. On the Prom board it looks like they may be getting ready to post up some BINs for viewing. Now I have to find a dumpy old 486 laptop to use with this stuff!!
I'm also trying to find out how that 'translator' works for the GN guys. Grumpy says it's not a pot. so I have to do some more digging. We'll see.
