Russell Twist-Lok Hose and Fittings

Anyone have any experience with this stuff?

Hose

http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...35&prmenbr=361

Fittings

http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...71&prmenbr=361

Its NHRA approved. I know the hose slides over the barb fitting, but what about the other part of the fitting? Does it just slide on, or is it crimped?

I'm guessing the red part slides on the hose, hose goes on the barbed end then you slide the red part up over the barbs locking the hose in place really good. Should be instructions on the Russell fitting's site.

Yea, I've used them. Sometimes they're a pain getting the hose on the fittings, but beyond that no complaints.
