i have an 87 roller 350 that i'm going to build. heres how i'm probably going to do it using what i can:

041 heads
either an LT4 HOT cam or comp XE270HR
about 9.5:1 compresion
performer intake
performer 600cfm carb
and short headers

what do you think? will this be a good street engine? do you think it would be able to beat a mustang GT? how would the idle and low end torque be with one of those cams? i was thinking of going with a bigger cam but i want to have a little better gas milage and low end.

also, if i saved up and got something like AFR 180 or 190 heads how much hp would they be worth? would i be able to get about 10:1 compression out without detination on 93 octane since there alluminum?
