Ordering Vig 9.5 tongiht and need to give them a stall. What would you guys recommend?

2800 or 3000. Don't **** around with anything lower, you'll regret it in the long run.

im running 2600-2800 and i like it alot. I dont have anything to compare it to, because htis is my first one. But i definitely recommend it.

I agree with MrJ...don't let anyone tell you 3000 is unstreetable. As long as you get a QUALITY converter (Vig, Protorque, or Yank) driveability will not be changed much.

I have a TCI 2400 but it flash stalls at about 2000...it sucks.

Myself, I'll be getting a Yank 3000 pretty soon.

Transmission: M21 4-speed
Axle/Gears: 3.36
My TCI Streetfighter stalls at around 3200 and I love it. I am running a fairly large cam for the street (240/244 duration @ .050) and my old converter wouldn't allow the engine to idle. My Streetfighter is totally streetable and doesn't slip too much while I am cruising.

I would suggest a little less for your car though. 2800 like MrJ said sounds good. As you increase your engine's power, the stall speed will rise, so that converter should be good until you get really nuts on the mods.
