huge turbo on a 350 TPI

ok, im putting a 350 mass air TPI in my 91 S10 (i know i know, its not a 3rd gen, but i didn't where else to go for advise) the motor has (will have) a T-78 turbo strapped to it, large cam, etc. i've heard mass air has a lot of small problems, and speed density is much better, but i have also heard speed density doesn't work with large cams, and i have no clue if it works with forced induction. i wanted some input on that aspect. i was also curious about using other maf sensors. i know DSM's (mitsubishi/eagle) use lt1 or ls1 maf sensors, and i was wondering if i could on my TPI due to the higher flowing, and cheapness. one last thing this turbo makes about 800+ HP an a 6 cylinder supra, im not sure what it will make on my 350, but any suggestions for computer tuning???

You can use a stock MAF, or a MAP sensor for your project. You cannot use a LT1 or LS1 MAF on the older ECMs used in our cars.

A 2-BAR MAP sensor would need to be used with any boost. Search the archives for that topic.

The 749 (Syclone) ECM is the ECM that can deal with the 2, and 3 bar Map sensors.

i'd check into the mass air project a bit more. i've seen quite a few with an LT1 maf conversion. i don't recall who makes the conversion, but you're obviously going to have to be programming the prom specific anyway so i'd check into that first and use a 3 bar map sensor which as i recall was used on the tta.
