Code 34
Code 34
The check engine light popped on today and checked the codes and I got a 34 which is mass air voltage too high or low, cant remember. But its really wierd, I drove the car for about 20 minutes and it never came on, then I drove it to the store and around town and it came on. It seems that if I am moving it will stay off, but if I stop and come to idle for a little while the light pops on. If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them.
Oh, yeah. I've got ideas. Try searching the archives for MAF and "low flow" and see what surfaces. There have been a lot of threads with that topic.
My first advice would be checking the electrical connections at the MAF, inspecting the intake ductwork and connections, verifying the correct TPS voltage setting, and checking/replacing the MAF power and burn-off relays.
Some of those old threads will explain why in detail.
