I need to replace the starter in my car because my froze up. I have a 91 Camaro RS. Anyone have any words of advice, special tools, or possibly step-by-step directions? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

first off diconnect the negative battery cable, jack the car up preferably with the e-brake on, remove the wire to the starter taking note of the positions remove the 2 bolts to the starter and pull it out, when you put the new or remanufactured one in you may need starter shims, get some of those at the parts store. come back and let us know if you run into trouble oh yeah there might be a brace that bolts to the back of the starter and goes to the block.
