valve cover wont seat with new team g intake

hey guys, i ran into a little problem with the valve covers and my team g intake. it seems that the plenum tabs are not letting my valve covers seat all the way down. i was wondering if there was anything i can do such as a really thick gasket or soemthing. i really dont want to start grinding on the intake since its brand new and already on the engine and i dont want to take a grinder to the valve covers for fear or not making a good seal. any ideas?

double up the valve cover gaskets to raise them up a bit.

I think Mr. Gasket sells 7/32" cork valve cover gaskets (extra thick)...

well i dont think two gaskets would get it high enough. its weird because the lip on the valve cover is about 1/2" from seating on the intake side because it hits the runner lip on the intake manifold.
