I have 1.5 aluminum roller rockers and vortec heads with all the proper machining and valve spring work. My question is should I change to 1.6 rockers? I am using the HOT cam and I know that it was designed for 1.6's but the stock ports on vortecs flow the best around .500 and lift with 1.5 is right at .492. The desktop dyno showed only a 2 hp increase with 1.6's, the 2 hp and hardly seems worth the change and the shorter valvespring life.

Do you guys think that there would be a bigger gain in real life?
