OIL PRESSURE

I WANTED TO KNOW IF IT IS NORMAL FOR THE OIL GUAGE IN THE INSTRUMENT PANNEL TO GO OVER THE LIMIT WHENEVER ONE ACCELERATES

I have seen those things do lots of weird things! Reading higher than the actual pressure is one! If you're concerned, check it with a mechanical gauge.

There is no real limit. Usually, the higher the better until you start to get leaks. When you accelerate the pressure will rise a little and that's fine. Unless it's leaking or there's other drivability problems it's fine.
