Anybody here who knows Vette's
I was thinking of selling my GTA and getting a 92+ Corvette, the ones that look more modern and have the LT1. How hard would it be to get my L98 to work in one of those? It wouldn't be THAT hard, right?
Thanks

A 90/91 Vette would be the easiest as it already has the ecm and wiring harness. Just swap your 350 in and wire it up.
Later years will require you to swap the ecm and harness to swap your 350 in. And if it has the newer electronic auto....

I don't think it would really be that hard but, why? the 92 vett will use obdI so most of the stuff could just be put on your tpi with out a problem map, mass, tps, cts so on some like your iac may need to be spliced to work but if you do it right no one would no the diff.
1991-1996 is the same body style!
1991 Corvettes have that "modern" rounded back end and wrap around lights. Also, this was the first year of the "new look" and the last year for the L98 TPI.

I'm assuming it should be a direct swap because the l98 was in the 91 which looks just like the LT1 corvettes. I doubt they changed the inside (as in location of the firewall). I know if 4th gens inorder to put in a regular SBC you have to cut some of the firewall out for valve cover clearences. Possibly the distrib too but the one I saw was using crank trigger ign.
One of the reasons of redesigning the SBC was so they could give it a lower profile and thus a more "modern" look.
