Oil pressure

What should be my average oil pressure for a 1983 Chevy motor? It is out of a 1983 chevy truck? I don't have a book I was hoping you guys could help me out? I just found out what I had in it. I've only had my 84 Camaro for about a month and went to by some parts for it it and the dang things wouldn't fit...that sucks Oh well thanks in advance (sorry if this is in the wrong place but I would liek to know if anyone would have a link to a site or would know offhand)

Normal rule of thumb is around 15 lbs at idle. Then around 10 lbs gain for every 1000 rpms more you turn. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Course it will flux a little bit due to the weight and type of oil you're running.
