86 Corvette Aluminum Heads

I just found a pair of 58cc angle plug chevy aluminun head off a 86 Corvette with 28000 miles. Part number is 14101128. Are these heads any good cause I can get them for $450.

For $450, they're waaaaaaaay to proud of those heads.

Been cruising ebay too, eh?

People will pay that much for the later d-port aluminum Vette heads, but the early (86 and 87) heads were just as bad as the iron heads they replaced. The only benefit was the higher compression. The d-port heads are good heads, and when properly ported, can be VERY good. Ligenfelter ported 113s will flow as well as cnc'd AFRs.
