cheap engine rebuild kit

i have a 350 i'm rebuilding. i need the usual stuff, pistons, rings, gaskets, bearings, freeze plugs, ect. where could i get a kit with all of this stuff in it cheap? it dosn't have to be anything special, cast pistons will do. do you know what the piston dish volume is in the summit kit for 9.35 compression?

there isn't really such thing as an engine kit sitting on a shelf waiting on you to buy. you tell them what you need and they put it in a box since there are so many differant combinations of parts you can have. i'd worry a bit more about running name brand quality parts than saving a few dollars. considering how cheap SBC parts are anyway and how competrive the market is any of the big mail order places will be close to the same price, and maybe even a parts store local to you will be better after you factor in the shipping.

My .02..... Spend the money right the first time. Low buck engine kits are just that, low buck. Reliability is out the window. A solid performing engine built with decent parts wont cost you that much more.

Ok there are couple things you would need to use the cheap kit and you still save a couple hundred bucks.

RMS $24
Intake manifold gaskets $8
Valve cover gaskets $25
