anyone know what this part is? a piece that goes to the cruise control box broke off and its idling a bit rough now even though i sealed the hole. thanks for any help.

 

Are you referring to a vacuum hose that goes to the cruise control diaphragm? If that is what you mean, then it is called a plastic vacuum tee. You can obtain that piece at a dealer or at an auto parts store. Once you purchase this new part, there is going to an outlet on the bottom (where you sealed it on the old one) for a vacuum hose connection and from there the vacuum hose connects to a coupling in the firewall area. Then, there is another vacuum hose that leads to the Cruise Control diaphragm.

one goes to the cruise control box and the other goes to the side of the intake plenum i think and another goes towards the fire wall. i need an exact name so i can get the part ordered. people around here are retards.
