CODE 32 (EGR replacment???)

Car: 1991 Z-28
Engine: TPI
Transmission: 5-speed Rear:3.73
CODE 32 (now what???)

I got the code 32 and looked it up and it says replace EGR valve
has anyone ever had this after adding headers?
and do I buy a new one or what??

You may have to check your EGR valve pilot. Most TPIs used a negative backpressure EGR valve, but your's might be different, I guess.

You may also have an issue with the diagnostice temperature switch on the base of the EGR.

Of course, you need to verify that the vacuum lines are routed correctly and the EGR solenoid is connected to the harness.
