Underhood insulation
I called a Chevy dealer yesterday asking about new underhood insulation for my 84 Z28. They said they had it for the regular camaro(flat hood), but didn't have it for the Z28(two insets). Does anybody know where I could get a new one?, or a good used one?
I checked the classified board and didn't see anything there.
Thanks,
Craig

As I understand it, Chevy changed to one style underhood insulation. The older style was a fiberous type material. The new stuff like found on 91/92 is a thinner type plastic or fibers sprayed with a resin or something. There is no difference in attachement points between my 92 Z28 and my 89 RS Camaro.
