I had the same problem (still do at this time) I have smoke coming out and oil accumulation on my stock air cleaner. It seems I have a bad valve seal.

I had this EXACT problem with my brothers '91 Bird with the LO3.. Oil was in the air cleaner, and there was no vacuum on the hose leading to the pcv.. I took the hose off of the throttle body, no vacuum there either.. Somehow, the entire passage had clogged itself in the throttle body and eventually plugged it (the guy who owned it before us didn't take care of it.. we got it cheap because the front pump seal on the tranny blew out). The valve seals are bad on it so it blows some oil smoke, maybe the blowby is what eventually carboned up the pcv passage.

Anyway, all you need to do is get a throttle body rebuild kit (it was in stock at advance auto parts surprisingly enough), and check all those passages and clean them out. That L03 ran like a champ after that (well, as good as its nature dictates, I suppose ). The kit is pretty easy to install.

Hope this helps!

Just wanted to thank you guys. The pcv hose was blocked al the way to the TBI. I had to use a drill bit.....by hand and drill the blockage. And then sprayed TBI cleaner in the hole under the TBI.But anyway THANK YOU:hail: :hail: :hail: :hail:
