2 and 4 bolt mains

I have a 91 CamaroRS with the auto trans, and I found an all brand new 5.7 for a cheap price, but it has 2 bolt mains on it... im really new at the whole engine swap thing so i have no idea what that means.... would i be able to put that in my car? or do I have to get an engine with 4 bolt mains?

You have a 2 bolt. 2 & 4 bolt blocks will interchange. All it means is the number of bolts that hold the main bearing caps on. 4 bolt 350's are generally stronger blocks than 2 bolts.

Just to help you actually realize what a 4 bolt and what a 2 bolt are.

Here's a 2 bolt.
