89 Iroc and 92 Z28 ????
Hey guys well i got a quick question. My buddy just got a 92 z28 with 83k miles on it. When i ride in it his ride feels so much better then my 89 iroc z(120k). THe seller said he replaced the springs on it(92z) before my buddy bought it, could that be y his car rides so well. I just got new struts in my car (gabreils from autozone). I know there not great but still better then 120k stock ones. I took my car got it aligned and everyhting chekcout out good, no other suspension problems. But his ride feels so much smoother. What can i do to get a better ride(less bumpy/rattly)Im thinking sfcs but y does my buddies car ride so much better?
It's more than likely those new springs that are creating the softer ride. After 120k the springs lose some of their dampening characteristics. Get some Moog springs to replace the ones that are in your IROC right now. It will probably fix the ride issue.

92's were structurally better than the earlier 3rd gens. The factory used a sealer when joining the body together, it created a tighter less rattley car.
