That would be expendable emmisions crap, if you live in a non emission testing state.

So will that fit any year? I'll see how much the dealership wants for it, and see which one is cheaper.

Thanks for all the help.

I would assume that it is the same. Partsamerica.com is just Advanced Autos online store. You can plug in your own car model and year to see if they have it.

What is this part?

Also known as the Heater Control Valve. Did a search on the partsamerica thread & found this one (attached) for my 91 RS 305. Any local parts store should carry it. They tend to get brittle from the heat over a period of time & break easily when any stress is applied like moving the hoses out of the way to work on something else. Hope that helps.:

Yup, 2 different things.

Although, the heater control valve is a good thing to keep bookmarked; cars that use those seem to need them occasionally (always at a convenient time of course).

Hey! Where'd that pic come from?

"Canister Control Valve" - required here in WI.

I'd go to the junkyard....that's where I got that one!

I was told to get a new one. idk how much the it costs from the dealership. My dad already ordered it from there. I saw one at the junkyard, but I thought I better get a new one.
