Click Sound when Connecting Battery

Whenever I disconnect or connect the battery cable, I hear a click from the passenger side front corner. Is this normal ? I have a battery drain I am trying to track down. The click doesn't happen when I connect the battery to my test light and complete the circuit that way. It only happens with the cable being directly on the battery terminal.

I thought maybe the click was some relay or solenoid or something energizing. Is this click sound supposed to happen, or is this maybe the source of my battery drain ?

In case my sig doesn't show, the car is an 88 GTA 5.7 TPI.

Thanks

most likely it's normal, but you ought to track it down to be sure
