Update on Fuel Pressure Problem.
I -think- i closed off the correct fuel line (not for sure, but it did give the fuel pressure of the pump when i turnt the key on so i took for granted it was the correct one) Well, if it is my fuel pump as Vader told me it -could- be (that or the filter) What pump should i go with? If i'm gonna spend money on it, i want a good pump. BTW, anyone got a picture of which line is the return line, cause i just want to make sure i double check myself. It'd suck to get all hyped on the pump and it's the regulator...heh

-Performance Resource Chip
-700R4 (Rebuilt) Too much done to actually list
-K&N Airfilters
-Ported Plenum
-2.77 Gears (not much to brag about but eh, its there)
-MSD 8.5 mm plug wires
-Problems every other day with the car (probably not a mod, but to me it sure makes a difference)

didn't catch the first part but I think I can answser anyway. the return line will be smaller than the feed line so just figure out which one is smaller. it doesn't look like you're going real wild with the engine so a 190lph (44gph) is plenty for you. ATR, modern musclecar and many of the other turbo buick parts suppliers are about the best price on thse pumps and since they carry them for the TTA, they have the right ones. I'm not sure if the screen is different for the regal but I know the TTA is the same. Walbro is the big name and I found Holley is a reboxed Walbro so don't spend more for the box. have you verified power to the pump? if not, get under the car and locate the plug on the floorpan forward of the rear axle about the center of the car. use a test light and connect to the terminal on the body that would feed the gray wire to the sending unit. Have someone turn the key on and you should get a light for 2 seconds.

Branz,
Sorry I don't have a photo, and my car is in storage so I can't run out to the barn and check.
Even if it is the fuel pump, you'll want to install a new filter with the pump. That being the case, I'd install the new filter first, just in case it's plugged. You might just save yourself the trouble of removing the fuel tank for nothing.
If it is the pump, how many miles are on your car? Since your original pump has lasted for eleven years and however many miles you have, why would you install anything else? That's pretty good service, in my opinion.

Very true...
I have 179,9xx on my car, and a list of repairs dateing back to 92. (I got all the service papers for my car when i bought it.)
So the FP is the original one, guess i'll just have to get me another one, but like you said, i'll replace the filter 1st..
I doubt i'd be that lucky (haven't been so far, although before it used to do it sometimes, and now it does it all the time...and just keeps getting worse and worse over a long period of time)
