Code 34

I have a 89 305 TBI formula, and the check engine light comes on when im driving, checked code and its 34, not sure what that is. It goes away when i shut the car off and start it again, any help would be great. Thanx

Does this show any symptoms?

Just curious, as I get a "34"....but no "service engine" light unless the motor is shut down.

I DO have symptoms, though......

Rough idle and or engine shut-down once "closed loop" is attained. Runs fine after a rather difficult re-start.

How would i be able to check if that is really the problem, what kind of diagnositics is there. can someone post up the service manual procdure on how to fix it.
