1987 Firebird Cam

I was thinking about puting a new cam in my car for mor HP. What would be a good one? I want somthing with rollers since my has that already or thats what I have been told. I am willing to go as far as far as the pushrods and roller rockers

...and springs. You forgot springs on your list. Before installing any aftermarket cam, you'll need to address the problem of weak valve springs. Unless they've been changed, you have weak springs, will poor seat pressure and poor valve control capability with any decent cam lobe.

I planed on putting new springs on also but the problem I am running into is nobody can tell me if I need a "hydraulic roller" or just a "roller". GM says its a hydraulic, my friend says its just a roller, and my mechanic says its a regular cam. so.........
I know it already has roller lifters on it because when I was fixing the intake manifold gasket I noticed the bridge that bolts down in the valley. So if anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.

You've got "hydraulic roller" or "factory roller". Could also say "factory hydraulic roller".

If people would be more specific when saying "hydraulic", whether flat tappet or roller, it would help.
