Cruise Controll

I have a 91 RS 3.1L 5spd.........I was wondering if any crusie controll unit would work in my car? Or do I have to get one that is made specifically for my engine/car? Example......Would I be able to throw in a cruise controll unit from a 88 camaro V8?

It'll work. The cable lengths changed depending upon the induction type (and possibly control location - not completely sure about that). But, put your cable on the other unit, assuming your cable is okay.
