some q's on some things to check because of a dead battery in the morning
i have a 2 day new alternater, 1 day old battery, and for some reason, i am dead in the morning. i did not leave any lights on or anything simple like that....
really, i need some advice on how to troubleshoot this problem..what do i check? other than the obvious..hell, go ahhead and include the obvious, just in case..thanks in advance

Lights...
Underhood light, cargo area light, any others in places you don't always look at, brake lights stuck on...

Try removing the negative cable, and placing a Mulit-meter in between the connection. Look at the amp draw. There will always be a minor amount for the computer and your stero. Then start removing fuses, when you notice a big drop in draw, this is the circuit to start looking for problems.
I've had things like: alternater diodes bad, stereo amp failed, center console light left on.
