throttle cable
throttle cable
I have installed the GM Ram Jet 350 crate motor in my 89 Iroc. I noticed that the throttle cable, which comes out of the firewall on the driver side may be too short to run it to the throttle body. The throttle cable hook-up on the ram jet motor is on the passenger side of the motor. This is the oppposite side when compared to the stock 350 throttle cable hook-up (driver side of the motor). Beside running the cable over top of the motor and hooking it up, which will probably look like crap. Does anybody have any other suggestions about hook the throttle cable up with my current setup. Or, do they make a throttle cable that is longer that would work on my 89 iroc.
I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks,
Chad

To clarify, the 4 cyl throttle cable will bolt in to your pedal and firewall, but some enginuity will have to take place to bolt to your ramjet tb and bracket. You should be able to figure something out. I forgot what we came up with.
Also the lokar cable (cut to length) will be a complete bolt on to everything.
