i knwo this isnt about a thirdgen but it is a bout a chevy....

heres teh story..my parents and i just got back from walmart...my dad backed his blazer into the drivway...put it in park...and pressed the hatch release to open the rear glass.....no problems..the glass pops open...and we begin to unload...then he hits the lock button for th epower door locks...and nothing...

the fuses are good...

the relay under the hood for the glass is good(swapped it out with another good one)

what else coudl be casueing this..only the buttons on the doors dont work and using the key in the back of the rear hatch to open or lock em wont work

if you put the car in drive and then back in park the doors unlock..showing the motors are fine


im stumped

plus...does anyone know how to open the rear hatch from the inside(safetly pull cable or something...) cause the hatch wont upen...the key wont unlock it..its a power lock..and turning the key manually does nothign


please help....

 

its a 2002 two door blazer...4.3 liter v6 automatic

 

Does the truck have keyless entry? (remote) I would have to look in a service manual at work tomorrow, but I'm thinking the body contol module took a dump. Stay tuned...

 

the acutator in the back glass took a dump.....

turns out its linked to the door locks...no keyless entry
