Stripped threads on my Oil Pan..:(
I stripped the threads on the oil pan bolt hole...What are my options? I do not want to replace the oil pan.
is the Heli-coil kit any good?

There are a few different drain plugs you can use. It is pretty easy to find a parts store that carries a variety of "oversized" oil drain plugs. They have like three different degrees of oversize. Also, there are some different rubber type plugs that you could use. Some have clamp down over/into the hole using springloaded wings on the inside of the pan, and others expand to plug up the hole. I've got one of those on my 81 temporarily and it seems to be holding up alright. Of course, the car doesn't see much use...
